Front End Sales Associate Job Description
Bubbles & Bean is growing, and we’re looking for a friendly, motivated Sales Associate to join our team! This position focuses on front-end customer service, register operations, and maintaining an organized, welcoming sales floor in our children’s consignment store.
We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-player mindset. The ideal candidate is dependable, energetic, organized, and willing to jump in wherever needed with an “I can figure this out” mentality.
Schedule Requirements:

Availability to work approximately 5–15 hours per week during June–August, with opportunity for year-round employment

Availability to work at least one Saturday per month
-
Flexibility to occasionally cover shifts or assist during busy periods is a plus
Other Required Qualifications:

Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Ability to reach and lift items overhead

Ability to distinguish colors for sorting and tagging inventory

Basic computer and keyboard skills

Ability to learn and operate our point-of-sale and credit card processing systems

Ability to maintain a friendly, professional customer-service attitude throughout the shift

Responsibilities:

Customer Service
-
Greet and assist customers throughout the store
-
Operate the register and process customer purchases
-
Answer phones and assist with customer inquiries
-
Help customers locate items and inventory
-
Assist customers with loading and unloading larger items
-
Return unwanted items to the sales floor
-
Learn store brands, products, pricing, and consignment policies to provide excellent customer service
-
Add new consignors into the computer system
-

Consignment Processing
-
Presort consignment drop-offs
-
Accept appropriate and saleable items
-
Respectfully return unsaleable items to consignors
-
Become knowledgeable about the consignment process and store procedures
-

Store Maintenance & Organization
-
Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing displays

Restock and organize inventory
-
Tag clothing and inventory items
-
Reorganize sales floor areas to accommodate incoming inventory

Perform general housekeeping duties including dusting, mopping, and cleaning as needed

Assist with other store tasks and responsibilities as needed

Starting pay: $15.10 – $17.00 per hour, depending on experience
